My three friends and I had a totally overwhelming experience at Ranmangli recently. The fields all around, the forests that enveloped us from different sides, the sighting and chirping of various birds, jungle walks, the Gond folk dance by village children, the star gazing experience night after night, sitting around the fire and chatting for hours...everything felt like we were in a world that was not a part of our usual chaotic lives. Hospitality was amazing, including the piping hot meals served with love. With a national park so close by, we also got a chance to go for jungle safari. And it was great to see how the local populace was being empowered by the Foundation. All in all, it was perfect break for tired body and souls, and each of us would love to return to refresh ourselves.
Mr. chaoji is a fantastic human being who has been working with local communities in the forests of India and have been uplifting their lives with various activities. Do support his foundation Ran Mangli so he can support these communities. It also help the foundation in conserving the forests.
It's a very good initiative towards conservation as it always starts with people around it. It's good to see that these people make their living by protecting the forest
